Along came a spider . . .

Interior designers often tell us that the environment they will design leads them toward how the finished space should look. Architects relate the same tale, in that the surroundings help them define how to create a structure in context to the property.

So it is with jewelry designers. They often design an entire piece around a central stone. It speaks to them, nudging them forward to create that distinctive jewelry item.

This one-off spider is anything but scary. It draws the eye towards those rich embellishments of 8 bejeweled legs. The 16.5mm baroque pearl body beckons with a deeply lustrous iridescence thanks to Nature.

How does your favorite gemstone speak to you?
